missing libpcreposix.la on sabayon / gentoo |

During a recent compile of kopete-otr, I was getting a missing libpcreposix.la which is part of the libpcre package. Checking the installed files with that package shows the .la files to not be installed. The fix is one of the two methods below: Method 1: # emerge =dev-util/lafilefixer-0.5 # lafilefixer --justfixit Method 2: # emerge app-portage/gentoolkit # revdep-rebuild -i -- -a Write Comment (0 comments) |

I have run both Sabayon x86_64 and Backtrack without any issues. The card reader works, video works, and webcam works. I will document everything as I get a chance, been really busy with work lately. One thing that is very nice about this laptop, it includes the Atheros AR958X wireless chipset which supports injection.....woohooWrite Comment (0 comments) |
